Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone New Movie 2014? Katrina Kaif Gets Replaced in Kabir Khan’s Upcoming Film

There have been many rumors rounding regarding Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone wanting to work together in a new film, but things appear to not be working out. However, now it looks like the “Ram Leela” star and “Jai Ho” actor might actually get a chance to work with one another in Kabir Khan’s new movie.

Bollywood Life (as per IB Times) reported that Salman hopes to work with Padukone in his upcoming film with Kabir, however, the director allegedly had already chosen Katrina Kaif as his leading lady.

Aside from her back-to-back success, perhaps Salman wanted Padukone because he is really done working his ex-girlfriend.

Kaif reportedly stated that she will be in touch with Salman, however, it looks like the “Dabangg” actor will be avoiding her messages since he is opting for Padukone instead.

There were previous reports that the “Ram Leela” actress was suppose to work with Salman in Sooraj Barjataya’s newest film, however, the actor told him not to cast Padukone opposite him in his next film. The “Jai Ho” actor didn’t want to work with a “busy” actress and changed his mind because he had a newcomer in mind instead.

Padukone was allegedly having date complication because she signed up for Imtiaz Ali’s next film, “Window Seat,” opposite of Ranbir Kapoor with whom she delivered the hit “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” in May 2013.

Her dates for Barjataya’s film “Bade Bhaiya” were reportedly clashing with Ali’s film which didn’t allow her to work with Salman.

The director was requesting her to assign 120 days for the shoot from June onwards, but it looks like she won’t be able to pull it off.

Padukone previously admitted that if she does a film with Salman, it will be a “special one.”

“I want to work with Salman. I am really looking forward to work with him. Whenever Salman and I will come together, it will be a special film,” said Padukone.

Salman had also shown interest in working with Padukone in the past as he has been praising her a variety of times and the “Ram Leela” actress felt honored.

“Definitely it feels great when Salman says such good things about me because if you all know he was the one who first noticed me,” said Padukone.

Salman had offered Padukone an acting gig during her modeling days, however, she was not ready at the time before taking SRK’s offer for “Om Shanti Om.”

Padukone is currently working on “Happy New Year” with SRK, Abhishek Bachchan and other actors in the Farah Khan directed film.
