Deepika Padukone was dropped from Rohit Shetty's Singham 2 after demanding 18 crore?

Undoubtedly the dusky beauty Deepika Padukone is one of the successful actresses in tinsel town. And after giving back to back hits, every director and actor wants to work with Deepika.
 

It is believed that after the success of Chennai Express, Rohit Shetty was keen to work with Miss Padukone yet again and offered her the role in Singham 2 opposite Ajay Devgn.

"Apparently, Deepika was not happy to be a part of Singham 2 as Singham is all about Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, and didn't just want to be a glamour quotient of the film. However the actress couldn’t refuse Rohit as she shares a good bonding with him, so she quoted a whopping Rs. 18 crore which is more than her actual rumuneration", says a source.
 

Well looks like the price didn't work with Rohit, so he had to replace it with Kareena Kapoor.Hmm all we can say, smart played Deepika.
