Deepika picks 'Shuddhi' over 'Bajirao Mastani' ?

As per Midday, Deepika Padukone has turned down Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' as she has allocated bulk dates to Karan Malhotra's 'Shuddhi'.

Deepika apparently did a screen test for the film, but later backed out due to date issues.

Now it seems Bhansali may go back to Kareena Kapoor for role of Mastani, as Ajay Devgan is playing Bajirao. Priyanka Chopra is said to have been finalised to play Kashibai.

There have been no official announcements regarding the film yet.
