'Dil Dhadakne Do' or 'Piku': Which Trailer Are You Most Excited About?

The trailer of two anticipated films will come out in the first half of April, and we are sure moviegoers are really excited to see what these two films have to offer. While the trailer of "Piku" will release April 3 with Dibakar Banerjee's "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy," the trailer of "Dil Dhadakne Do" is slated to be out April 10.

"Piku," a comedy drama, directed by Soojit Sircar, stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone as an eccentric father and daughter duo. Irrfan Khan also plays a leading role in the film. We have already seen several images from the sets of the film, and they were adorable. It would be interesting to see the chemistry between Bachchan and Deepika as the film revolves around them. Bachchan will be seen in a very different pot-bellied Bengali daddy avatar.

"Dil Dhadakne Do," a dramedy, is directed by Zoya Akhtar who comes back with another multi-starrer after the success of "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara." The film has a steller starcast with Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah in the main roles. 

Fans would surely be looking forward to seeing Anil play father for the first time. Also, Ranveer and Priyanka as siblings would be really interesting to watch. The film also brings together Ranveer and Anushka's (who have been linked in the past) hot pairing back. Add to that Priyanka doing playback for Anushka and the backdrop of a cruise through Europe.

"Piku" is a much smaller films but with huge stars playing protagonists. On the other hand, "Dil Dhadakne Do" is multi-starcast film about a dysfunctional Punjabi family.

"Piku" releases May 8, and "Dil Dhadakne Do" will hit the theaters June 5.
