Why did Salman Khan lie about Deepika Padukone?

Ever since Sooraj Barjatya announced his decision to cast Salman Khan in his next movie, the buzz surrounding the who the actress will be has increased by every passing day.

Deepika Padukone was rumored to be the main choice for the movie, with Salman Khan praising the actress in the public and declaring his desire to work with her. However, he had also said that he will have no role in casting process of the movie.

Salman's fans were also excited to see him work with the present golden girl of industry. But according to the latest reports, they will have to wait a little longer as Deepika has been removed from the star cast. Reportedly, Salman has asked Sooraj to not cast Deepika in the movie as he doesn't want to work with a busy actress.

So, the question arises that why did he lie in the first place about having no role or authority in deciding who will be part of the movie. And now it would be interesting to see that whether Salman will once again give a new comer an opportunity to work alongside him.
