No Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone Alone To Promote, Market Kochadaiiyaan!

It is now said that Deepika Padukone will be promoting her film with SuperstarRajinikanth, Kochadaiiyaan, without the stylish mogul. Rajinikanth, who has always kept himself away from the public eye, actually chooses to keep it that way, so he will not be doing Kochadaiiyaan's promotions. Thus, putting the entire responsibility on the lead actress Deepika Padukone.

The film finally has set a release date which happens to be 11th April, 2014.Kochadaiiyaan (The King with a long, curly mane) is going to be a 3D motion capture computer-animated Tamil period film. The film is directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya R Ashwin and written by KS Ravikumar.

The film has Rajinikanth enacting and voicing three lead roles, and Deepika Padukone will be one of the actresses alongside him. Deepika will be the sole person who will be shouldering the promotion and the marketing of the entire project.

A source close to Rajinikanth said that, Rajini does not wish to be seen too often in the public and since he will not be promoting Kochadaiiyaan beyond the initial formalities, Deepika will take over the rest.

The co-producer of the film, Dr Murli Manohar, "Throughout the making of this film, Deepika has been immensely co-operative. Rajini Sir would probably be present at the media meet to introduce our film to journalists. But after that Deepika will be there to take the film forward to its release." Looks like Deepika Padukone will have a lot of promotion to do.
