"I am sure something as beautiful like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ will happen again for us.” - Deepika Padukone

After delivering four back-to-back successful hits, Deepika Padukone has become one of the most wanted actresses in Bollywood for every director’s film. Although the “Ram Leela” star recently expressed that she wants to work with Salman Khan next, she might have to ditch the idea in order to work with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
Padukone first kicked off her acting career with Shahrukh Khan in “Om Shanti Om” and now she has a desire to collaborate with the “Dabangg” actor, however, it looks like she had to pass on that opportunity when she was offered to play the leading lady in Sooraj Barjatya’s “Bade Bhaiya.”
Padukone is in a dilemma over dates, reported MidDay, and has no time for Salman. The “Ram Leela” actress signed up for Imtiaz Ali’s next film, “Window Seat,” opposite of Kapoor with whom she delivered the hit “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” in May 2013.
Now her dates for “Bade Bhaiya” are reportedly clashing with Ali’s film which might not allow her to work with Salman.
Barjatya and Salman are very keen on having Padukone on board, but the director wants the actress to assign 120 days for the shoot form June onwards and it doesn’t look like she will be able to pull it off since she is scheduled to shoot for Ali’s film from July to December.
Padukone previously worked with Ali in “Love Aaj Kal” which also starred Kapoor, and is very excited to collaborate with the director again.
“With five biggies in a row, starting from ‘Cocktail’ to ‘Ram Leela,’ there was no way that anyone else could have been thought of,” said a source close to the film crew. “WIth Ranbir, Imtiaz, Deepika and Sajid coming together, the whole package becomes red hit in the trade. In any case, Deepika was more or less finalized form the very beginning. However, her current spree, including ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ with Ranbir, only made sure that the formality was taken care of sooner than later.”
