Ranbir refuses to work with ex-flame Deepika Padukone

If the latest buzz is to be believed Ranbir Kapoorhas walked out of an ad commercial of a renowned soap brand for his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. It is believed that the Kapoor lad backed out of the commercial as it also features Deepika Padukone and he is not ready to work with his ex-flame.

The company later signed Imran Khan opposite Deepika Padukone in the soap commercial.

A source says, “The brand was in talks with Ranbir for a while, but the actor politely turned down the offer saying that he was not too comfortable associating himself with feminine products. But another reason could be the fact that he was not keen to share screen space with Deepika. That’s when the company looked elsewhere and got Imran Khan on board,” says the source.

However, a source close to Ranbir says Deepika is not the reason of his refusal. He added that Ranbir Kapoor is quite choosy about the films or brands he endorsed and it might be one of the reasons of his refusal. “He may have rejected the offer but Deepika was not the reason behind it. In fact, the two will be working together in another film.”

Ranbir Kapoor dated Deepika Padukone for more than a year before establishing relationship with Katrina Kaif.
