Deepika Padukone chooses Aamir Khan over Salman Khan!!!

Deepika Padukone ended 2013 on a good note and filmmakers are in queue to sign her for their next venture and the long legged actress are struggling to manage dates for ample projects that has come her way post the success of four films in 2013. For quite some time, report was doing the round that Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s next and the actress too was keen to act alongside Sallu but the latest development about the project is that she has kicked Barjatya’s project with Salman Khan to romance Aamir Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s next.

Imtiaz Ali and Ritesh Sidhwani are keen to cast Deepika Padukone and Aamir Khan in their upcoming project and moreover, they wished to start the shooting from July which disturbed Deepika’s project with Salman Khan. Barjatya also wished to start his film from June and wants the actress to keep aside 120 days totally for the film. Now, the ‘Cocktail’ actress is in a fix as whom to say yes and whom to say no.

Construction of the film's set has already begun at ND studio, informs a source close to the production house. "Nitin Desai is the film's art director and shooting for the film will begin in May. About 60 to 70 per cent of the film will be shot in the studio," says the source.To add to the report, it is Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s decision to sign Deepika Padukone for a film under their banner. "Shooting for the film will begin in December and Deepika should be able to sign on the dotted line.

Aamir Khan has been approached for the same and though he has not yet signed the dotted line, he is likely to give his nod to the project. The film will be directed by Nitya Mehra, who has earlier assisted Farhan and the plot will centre around time travel."

It is highly assumed that she might give her nod to Imtiaz’s film which star Aamir Khan and reject Salman’s film. Off late, Ritesh threw an impromptu party for Deepika to celebrate her first Filmfare award and their strong bond threw a clear signal that Deepika is in Ritesh Sidhwani’s mind for his next project with Aamir Khan.

Moreover, Deepika once expressed her keen desire to work with Salman Khan saying it is overdue and now at any cost she needs to work with the hunk.

"He offered me my first film when I was too young and I was not ready to be in front of the camera. I will always be grateful to him. Just the fact that he offered me a film was a great thing. It is taking a long time for us to come together on screen, so I think there is something special waiting for us," Deepika said.
