Diwali brings Deepika and Ranbir together

Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Tamasha has been hogging the limelight for quite some time since it features ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles for a second time since their split in 2009. Six years on, the curiosity of the people remain unsatiated, and every time the duo share a social space, a barrage of questions – relating to their personal lives – are being hurled at them.

Although both the actors have been handling such questions in a diplomatic way, their body language during the promotional events has been subjected to many interesting interpretations.

Deepika and Ranbir were in Delhi  on the eve of Diwali, celebrating the occasion with the media. The pair seemed at ease in each other’s company as they took part in the festivities; they lit up sparklers, made rangoli, shared sweets and played cards, with great enthusiasm.

Deepika wore a pink saree with red floral embroidery, designed by Payal Jain, while Ranbir wore a  maroon kurta teamed with a Nehru jacket, designed by Rohit Bal.

Nonetheless, Deepika and Ranbir willing to share a reel life highlights their professionalism; it goes without saying that the duo share a great chemistry, hence, it’s perceptive and judicious of them to not let any grudge take a toll on their careers.

Deepika later flew to Bengaluru to celebrate Diwali with her family, and  will  be back in Mumbai soon to attend the annual party hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
