Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra First Look PICTURES In ‘Bajirao Mastani’

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have become one of the hottest couples in the industry and directors love to book the duo for their films. The two will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Bajirao Mastani” and so far filming appears to be going great.

We’ve been hearing a lot about the film and have seen a few sneak peeks into it and now it looks like we’re getting more behind the scene looks into the actors’ characters.

We already know Singh is set to play the main character in the film, sporting a bald look and now images have leaked of the actor with a shaven head. The much awaited teaser of the film released, which shows introduces the characters of the film. It gives us a look into some of the battle sequences, performances by the leading stars and a love story of epic moments. Padukone plays Mastani who not only looks beautiful, but fierce as well while Chopra plays Kashi as a Maratha queen and Bajirao’s wife

The actors have also teased a few pictures of themselves from the movie on their Instagram accounts. Padukone shows herself as Mastani all suited up with a bow and arrow, while Chopra shows her character looking glamorous as Kashibai. Singh shows off his bald look as Bajirao with a serious expression and captioned the photo, “PESHWA BAJIRAO.

Designer Anju Modi, who has been working on the costumes for “Bajirao Mastani,” revealed that Padukone will sport a “royal style” in the movie. “Deepika will be seen dressed in royal style, plus she is playing a Muslim character in the film, so we have tried to give her sharara and kurtis,” said Modi at the Aza Store according to IBN Live. The designer further explained that the costumes in “Bajirao Mastani,” which is a “period movie,” were made so they “kept old Mughal style Angarkha and Maharasthrian style Navwari saris as it’s a story about the Marath Peshwas.” Last we heard about the film, the actors are reportedly working on some new dance choreography for the film, however, Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will be taking the lead on a classical number in the movie. They might be taking Kathak lessons from Pandit Birju Maharaj, however, the director is apparently having second thoughts about the number.
