Deepika was part of the ensemble cast and yet she managed to shine out in the film. The film also gave Bollywood a new pair in Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor who translated their off-screen romance into magic on the screen.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani: Deepika Padukone teamed up once again with her now ex beau Ranbir Kapoor and weaved magic on screen in this Ayan Mukerji film. Their crackling chemistry, the film's youth friendly story line and peppy songs made the film a blockbuster and strengthened Deepika's position in the top league.
Chennai Express: Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan teamed up once again for Rohit Shetty's action comedy. The film broke all records at the Box Office and made Deepika the undisputed Queen of Bollywood.
Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's version of the 'Romeo and Juliet' was a riot of colours. Deepika was not only appreciated for her performance but even for her crackling chemistry with her rumoured beau Ranveer Singh.
